SP20, Style Rookie, updates, etc.

Greetings humans! It's been a couple weeks since I've posted, so when I get a moment tonight, I'll update you with pics from the Sub Pop anniversary party and SP20music fest. I was also down in the "Dry Shitties" this past weekend and I have some great kodak moments to share; a few from our moments basking by the pool, and some from the boat ride down the Colubmia river where we saw some amazing wildlife juxaposed with retired nuclear reactors(!) New Fleet Foxes music video

Hello! Here is the new Fleet Foxes video that Sean Pecknold (singer's bro) recently created. Brendan and I helped him with some test shots, so it was really neat to see the outcome of the whole thing.



Love this song and the concept of the video. If only we could turn back time...

Txori Bar

Last night I had the pleasure of celebrating Sidney Field's birthday at a new bar in Belltown called Txori (http://www.txoribar.com). It's been open for about 7 months now and it's right next to the Mcleod Residence. They serve up little food plates like tapas, and really tasty beverages. I had a Stella w/Lemon Soda concoction and it was so refreshing. Try the braised pork, onion tartes and button mushrooms. Oh and the lemon flan, so good! The restaurant/bar has high ceilings and is sort of long and skinny space, but there's a great patio out back to dine on which has a nice little view of the city. Check it out sometime!


I was too chicken to try the octopus but I hear it's pretty tasty...

Modern Guilt

Damn, why is Beck so cool? He is one of those artists that appeals to the masses and the indiephiles album after album and that's hard to do. Can't wait to hear the 8th one coming out soon. Here's a little trailer for it I found on Stereogum which he creative directed:
