Night before Christmas

I can't believe it's Christmas already. The days flew by and fast. I haven't written in this blog or posted photos in a while, but I'm hoping that I will be better about this next year.

Right now, I'm in Richland (Tri-Cities, some call it Tri-Shities) visiting Brendan's family. Not much going on, but we did a massive cleaning this morning since Blue (their 13 year old Lab) had a bit of an accident all along the stairwell. Yuck. He's an old guy so if he's scratching at the door or whining, you got to let him out and right away. I think we all learned that really fast. Brendan was pretty frustrated since he had just vacuumed the entire living room. It was kind of funny but I don't think he was too happy about that mess.

And unfortunately the electric is out in their kitchen since they are doing renovations, so this year it will be Chinese duck just like in A Christmas Story.
Let's hope the Bumpus' dogs don't come flying through this place in the morning!

Until next time... Merry Christmas!

New Museum - Bowery NYC

Looking forward to seeing this in March:

New Museum

Scotland etc.

Crap it's been like a month since I've written in this blog. Seems like a lot has happened since then. My parents are back in Thailand again, had a nice Thanksgiving in Seattle with Ed and Mieko and their new baby - So cute! - and B and I finally bought our tix to London>Edinburgh>Paris>NYC for our March honeymoon. Should be a fun trip even though it's my 3rd time over there. (Can't get enough!) But it will be a first to see Scotland, land of plaid, Trainspotting, burgeoning music scene (think Boards of Canada, Beta Band, Belle & Seb) I'm also anxious to visit Colette and the uber chic Hotel Costes when we're in Paris...

Other trips on the horizon: Hong Kong, Argentina, India, Prague, Greece?

December is here, so it's shopping madness now. Might go skate this weekend if weather permits and we have plans to check out the Japanese Art at SAM.
16th - 19th Century stuff from the Kobe Museum of Art.

No shows as of late... taking it easy on the wallet this month.

Something to chew on for now: POST PUNK MUSIC VIDS
